The video for Khalid’s summery new song “Skyline” has been released.
Khalid is back with his sunny new song “Skyline,” and he’s paired it with an equally vibrant visual to match the track’s exuberance.
Khalid and his buddies dance on a grounded hot air balloon and gallop over grassy hills in the video, which was directed by Levi Turner and Cody LaPlant. As the song’s title suggests, it also moves the action to the skies, with Khalid singing in his automobile as it flies through the clouds.
In a press release for the song, Khalid remarked, “‘Skyline’ to me is a refresh and full of summer feelings.” “I hope it offers joy to my followers and helps them get through whatever difficult situations they may be experiencing.”
Khalid released his Scenic Drive mixtape late last year, which includes collaborations with 6lack, Majid Jordan, Smino, Ari Lennox, and Alicia Keys. Prior to that, the 24-year-old singer announced the release of his third album, Everything is Changing, as well as the single “New Normal.” The project has yet to come to fruition, although the release of “Skyline” suggests that this may change later this year.
