Chicago-based rapper Pronto Valid ditches the expected drill sound and dives headfirst into house-infused territory with his newest single, “UK V!BES.” Released on July 4, 2025, the track is a high-energy, no-brakes fusion of UK house and hip-hop. Teaming up with producer Zeelaa, the duo cooks up something electric that you don’t usually hear coming out of the Windy City.
Right from the jump, the song hits with hard-thumping beats that refuse to go unnoticed. It’s got that classic house rhythm, crisp hi-hats, bouncy basslines, but then Pronto Valid steps in and flips the vibe with slick, fast-paced bars that glide over the beat like second nature. His delivery is confident and punchy without feeling too heavy. You can tell he’s having fun with it, and that energy bleeds into the track in the best way.
The influence of Skrillex and BEAM’s “Selecta” is theer, especially in the track’s structure and texture. But instead of feeling derivative, “UK V!BES” uses those cues as a launchpad to create something more playful and uniquely personal. Pronto Valid’s lyrics feel sharp but loose, meant to stir up movement.
