Vanessa Marcoux releases catchy new song ‘Snakes’
Vanessa Marcoux, a violinist and one of Canada’s most creative artists, has just released her brand-new album, La Jungle, a stunning collection of songs that transport the listener on a neo-classical odyssey full of breathtaking vistas.
A master of the violin, Marcoux also holds a master’s degree in interpretation from the University of Montreal and a bachelor’s degree from McGill University, where she received the mention “Outstanding Achievement in Violin.” She also completed a post-graduate program at the prestigious National Superior Conservatory of Lyon.
She also finished a second bachelor’s degree at the Universitรฉ de Montrรฉal in instrumental composition, where she was a student of Ana Sokolovic. She regularly performs in concert as a soloist and chamber musician for both the classical repertoire as well as for contemporary music and mixed music. She has won numerous grants and awards for her work as a violinist and composer. Her most recent single, ‘Snakes’, is a good one.
