We Don’t Miss by Indigo Blaze: Review
Indigo Blaze is a powerful Nu-Metal band based in Perth, and “We Don’t Miss” is their astounding talent on display. Blending aggressive hip-hop chants and fire guitar riffs seems like the way to go for this energetic act, as they effortlessly groove across the piece. It pays homage to classic Nu-metal outfits such as Limp Bizkit, and the rap-rock scene. Altogether, Indigo Blaze forms an impressive song, and you don’t wanna miss a single second of it.
“We Don’t Miss” initiates with a weighty bassline and a flawless vocalist spittin bars. Indigo Blaze’s attitude and confidence charge you up, and I’m certain entire arenas would be ecstatic at their sound. Coming back to its verse, the bass has a significant presence, where vocal lines form an epic chemistry. Eventually, when raw guitar riffs make an entrance, the drummer takes it up a notch, and the whole atmosphere changes. It goes from rap rock to full-blown nu-metal, and the transition could not have been more perfect.
My old man played everything from Scorpions to Pink Floyd and sparked my interest in classic rock. This pattern changed drastically in middle school when a close buddy of mine introduced me to all things metal, especially the genre’s new age. I’m glad to have been a longtime follower of this sound, leading me to resonate with Indigo Blaze’s energy. Their song is a banger and resonated with the teenager in me.
