The appealing dance-pop track ‘Do It Better,’ featuring Felix Jaehn and Zoe Wees, is out today via Universal Music.
Felix Jaehn returns with a certified smash in ‘Do It Better,’ featuring German popstar Zoe Wees, after kicking off the year with a mega-collaboration, ‘Rain In Ibiza,’ with UK superstar Calum Scott and mystery duo The Stickmen Project. The single is now available to stream via Universal Music on all platforms.
Jaehn makes a comeback with a pop-leaning production that’s great for radio, complete with a top-line from burgeoning superstar Zoe Wees. The tune is melodic at its core, with a deep house bassline that peaks with mainstage sensibility. Following the release of his ‘Original Sin’ remix for Sofi Tukker, Jaehn is gearing up for his finest year yet, with a slew of new tracks on the way and a summer tour planned.
Felix Jaehn has been on a roll lately, with his latest single marking his first original creation of 2022. His run of singles, including ‘I Got A Feeling’ and his own remixes of his tunes ‘SICKO’ and ‘No Therapy,’ have impressively garnered worldwide critical acclaim over time. These remarkable masterpieces offer a tantalizing preview of what the multidimensional maestro has in store for 2022 and beyond.
“I’m a huge fan of Zoe and her voice that goes straight to my heart. While working on ‘Do It Better’ I got excited for festival season and can’t wait to dance with you all soon.” – Felix
Zoe Wees, the breakout star, has a way of making even the most complex and emotional situations feel universally approachable. Her raw, forceful first single “Control” has over one billion streams and is a global hit. It reached the top 20 on Pop radio in the United States. Wees’ follow-up track, “Females Like Us,” was recently featured in the New York Times Magazine, which traced the history of “the melancholy banger,” and praised by People as “a vulnerable pop anthem that pushed for togetherness and solidarity to girls throughout the world.”
The song was certified multi-platinum and charted at number one on Germany’s radio charts. She subsequently published her debut EP “Golden Wings,” which drew widespread attention, with Spotify’s Radar, Apple’s UpNext, and YouTube’s Artist On The Rise programs all including her tracks. She’s been published in publications such as The Guardian, Forbes (30 Under 30), Gal Dem, Line Of Best Fit, and Clash, as well as having cover features in Notion, Euphoria, Hunger, and Germany’s Glamour Magazine.
Zoe has appeared on the American Music Awards, “The Late Late Show with James Corden,” “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” and the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in 2021, as well as collaborating with notable musicians such as 6lack and Kygo.
