Youthstar releases a new single ‘Extreme Nature’ featuring Miscellaneous & Rhum One
London-born Youthstar began his career on the Drum&Bass scene, particularly with the group Dirtyphonics in 2009. He later toured the world with Camo and Krooked from 2011 to 2016. After then, Youthstar encounters the band Chinese Man, joins them on their global tours in 2014, and takes part in the “The Groove Sessions Vol.3” project. The artist releases his first two solo albums, SA.MOD (2017) and Back To The Sauce (2019) on the label Chinese Man Records, with numerous features from artists like Chill Bump, Big Red, Dope DOD, ASM, Foreign Beggars, Illaman, and Deluxe between the years 2017 and 2019. The artist is assisted in the production by Senbe (Smokey Joe & The Kid).
First, Miscellaneous features Doctor Flake and Metastaz from the fusion band Fumuj and Rytmétix. At the height of the French rap genre’s golden era, pure native English speaker Miscellaneous moved to France and rapidly established his crisp, impetuous flow. Since 2010, he has collaborated with beatmaker Bankal to form the Tours-based duo Chill Bump. The trio has three albums out and has performed on numerous stages in France and overseas. Miscellaneous collaborates with a growing number of artists over time (Biga*Ranx, Tawan MC, Foreign Beggars, Smokey Joe & The Kid, Senbe, Degiheugi, ASM…) and becomes closer to the artists Chinese Man and MC Youthstar, who together form an explosive combo.
Youthstar & Miscellaneous are now working on further upcoming projects as a pair, including an EP, a second album, and NFT releases. They will release their joint album “Out Past Curfew” on the label Chinese Man Records at the end of 2021.
