Matthias Schorer is the sole composer of De Antiquis Et Novis, and he has created a whirlwind of emotions present in the EDM track “Alchemy”. This instrumental piece is synthwave-infused beauty. It’ll get your body moving, and send vibrations all over your soul. The track starts off with a faded beat and a bangin’ bass line. Afterward, the synth parts enter, and there are multiple layers of it. The genesis of “Alchemy” is a melodic masterpiece, you’ll understand this with each listen.
Matthias has truly crafted a sensational track fit for a summer rave. If someone would walk into a club and hear “Alchemy” playing, boy oh boy they’d never leave. The lower parts of the song feature a static synth that keeps going. But, when the main hook drops a louder symphonic melody plays. What I truly enjoyed were the build-up transitions. Every time the arrangement came, I felt a tingling excitement in my chest.
Being the sole producer, composer, and engineer of De Antiquis Et Novis, Matthias managed to construct something extraordinary all by himself. It really makes you wonder how someone can be this talented, bravo! The beat structure of the track is always consistent and it’s a type of rhythm that will energize you to the fullest extent. Matthias aimed to combine elements of techno and electronic dance music to make a fun, upbeat track for the summer. As time goes on, he intends to release other dance tunes until he has an entire dance album out.
