ALE[X] release a new music video for ‘King Hong Kong (Bruce Lee Freestyle)’
After taking part in Cyphers #PLM3 and #PLM4, and releasing the hip-hop singles “Sayonara” and “#NousSavoirs” as well as the rap track “Frérot” on the LATITUDE* album Boomerang Kid by the Los Angeles producer, ALE[X] is back with a new sound: KING HONG KONG.
This complex project was completed in partnership with NeoSoul vocalist NeLE and JH BEATS, a world-famous Dominican beatmaker and producer (Nicky Jam, Arcangel, Farruko, De La Ghetto, etc.).
With a blend of rap, upbeat choirs, singing, and melodic voices over a Latin Trap beat, this original Freestyle arrives to rejuvenate the genre while also being refreshing, heavy, and catchy. It also pays homage to Bruce Lee, a legendary figure in Hong Kong. The perfect musical accompaniment to mark the summer of 2022.
A French rapper, musician (drummer, percussionist), producer, and beatmaker known as ALE[X] debuted his solo career after years of service to other artists, most notably through a number of international projects that brought together vocalists and rappers from around the world (Africa, Asia, Europe…).
With its numerous EPs currently in production and its prior singles, ALE[X] aims to examine and portray every phase of modern rap history and style, from the 1990s through the 2020s.
