Alexander Joseph releases mesmerizing new track ‘Waiting For You (Piano Version)’
The song titled ‘Waiting For You’ was released by Alexander Joseph on November 11th, 2022. The original track can be found on his extended play (EP) titled ‘Broken But Beautiful’. The single includes an acoustic version as well as a stripped back piano version of the original track. This song is a tribute to his Polish grandmother, who went through a lot and survived the atrocities of Auschwitz during the war before making her way to London where she started a family. She is the inspiration behind the song. The song’s lyrics recount a narrative of heartache and betrayal while also pointing towards the possibility of better times ahead. “She has always been so supportive of me and encouraged my pursuit of music, and I believe that one day we will be reunited,” said the musician. “I believe that one day we will be able to perform together.”
