All I need by Sonny Grin and Jeyaia: Review

Sonny Grin is a producer and multi-talented instrumentalist, and Jeyaia is an exceptional singer with a passionate voice. They are both based in Australia and have a sensational tale to tell with their music. The song “All I need” is performed and recorded beautifully by both these artists, and will send a calming vibration to your ears. While the track is heavily influenced by Soul and R&B, there are also pieces of downtempo and electronica mixed within it. It’s an absolute joy to listen to, and the very moment I pressed play on Spotify I felt my senses tingling.

Jeyaia’s voice has a heartwarming resemblance to Beyoncé. Also, the music sets the perfect tone for Jeyaia’s vocals to shine through. The beat structure doesn’t try to be too heavy to diminish the quality of the track, instead, it adds a groovy vibe. The meaning behind the lyrics and the overall setting of All I need is all about the passion between people. Sometimes a couple may be in a fiery connection, yet it might be harmful to them as playing with fire might get you burned out, yet that feeling cannot be avoided. Thus, the song is an ode to the intensity between lovers.

I really enjoyed listening to the rhythm section of this song. This is because I’m a big fan of synth, and the keyboard played out a perfect jam here in All I need. Sonny Grin’s ability to compose a graceful melody is exceptional.
