Annie Keating Releases Passionate Country-Rock Album “Hard Frost”

Annie Keating, a rising country rock star, will enchant you with songs that come straight from her heart. Released on June 1st, her album “Hard Frost” is a collection of songs that convey meaningful feelings through beautiful soundscapes. Annie’s country music story is told over this 11-song album with an intriguing sense of harmony. However, the album’s scorching interpretation of “So Lonely,” originally performed by Brit Goliaths The Police, is worth a listen.
Whether it’s the blues rock intro to “Lies and Dynamite” or the heartfelt country hymn “Keepsakes and Heartbreaks,” Annie and her band never fail to deliver a dynamic sound. Each song is beautifully portrayed in a way that only seasoned performers are able to. This is true both of the introspective songwriting and the lovely musical portions. Especially from the guitar’s chord structures and tone. In addition to that, the rhythm of “Lovesick Blues” has an emotional aura that will captivate you. There’s a swing to the beat that makes you want to dance with a drink in your hand and some pals by your side, letting off steam and, in the end, having a good time. If that hasn’t piqued your interest, just wait till you hear the cover; it’ll blow your mind.
Annie’s cover of “So Lonely” by The Police was, as was noted, outstanding. She ditched the reggae rock sound and replaced it with a blues rock spin.
