Big Pisces Energy by Griffin Robillard: Album Review

Griffin Robillard is a talented pop-rock artist who dazzles with his electrifying album “Big Pisces Energy.” It’s layered with intriguing songwriting and electronica layers that keep us engaged throughout the record. So, without further ado, let the exploration of music commence!
The album begins with the self-titled number “Big Pisces Energy.” It’s a heavenly mix of synthesizers, poetic vocals, and just an all-around spiritual vibe. Next up, we take a trip down electronica avenue with a bit of rock in “Laws Of Longing (LOL).” A thumping beat and bassline keep us hooked on the melody, and Griffin’s energetic voice drives the heart of the melody. His performance thus far has been a thrill to witness, and this essence continues in songs such as “The Door.” It’s an emotional pull into the artist’s words, and the instrumental weight is pretty deep too. A combination of atmospheric synths and powerful beats heightened the effect, and I was amazed by how polished the sound was. “Hot Boy Bummer” amped things up, and the album’s fire segment had finally arrived. The beat timings are shorter, amounting to a more catchy sound, and the basslines are funky as heck. Seriously, how does one create such a magical sound? Teach me!
“Bar of Cherries” is a synthwave pop tune packed with cadence. With a bold vocal narrative and an epic 80s theme, the track engrossed me entirely. So, do you enjoy pop rock with electronica tagging along? Then do check out Griffin’s music, folks!
