Christmas Time Again by Anthony Benjamin: Review
Holidays are just around the corner, and to enhance the festivities a jolly-good artist by the name of Anthony Benjamin graces the music scene. His track โChristmas Time Againโ just makes you want to put on a Santa hat and vibe along to the melody! Remember the band Owl City? Well, I bet youโll like Anthonyโs music as much because thereโs that hint of positivity and sparkle that will put a smile on your face.
โChristmas Time Againโ manages to graciously sound like a proper seasonโs greeting. Primarily because the piano arrangement and the choir-like arrangements that come with it have a very vibrant Christmassy element to them. Also, there are some subtle shaker noises present in the song, that remind us of the reindeer which carry Santa on the sleigh. Aside from the themes of the incoming holiday, in a musical context, the song heightened my mood with a fresh dose of pop rock.
Anthony Benjamin initiated his musical voyage at the beginning of 2020. Heโs based in London and is on a mission to compose melodies strong enough to oppose the harsh realities of our society. With โChristmas Time Againโ the story-driven nature of his dreamy synth-pop tune becomes more evident. There is just a delightful and bright essence to the song that shines a light on you. The singer has a very alluring charm, which arrives from his subtle voice and easy-to-hear pieces. In combination with the light-hearted piano notes, โChristmas Time Againโ is quite the holiday hit!
