CL releases a ferocious music video for “Chuck.” ‘ALPHA’ is a track from her studio album due out in October 2021.

The stunning video for ‘Chuck,’ which stars choreographer Parris Goebel and her dance company, was released on May 13. CL previously collaborated with Goebel on her 2015 single “Hello Bitches,” for which she and her dance crew also participated in the music video.
CL, Goebel, and the dance team are shown in the video performing a dance routine to the high-energy track while wearing in matching all-black tracksuits. “Pretend you know, that’s the lie / Fakeness?” In the chorus, the former 2NE1 leader spits, “it ain’t fly.”
The song “Chuck” is from the singer-debut rapper’s full-length album, “ALPHA,” which was released in October 2021. Following ‘5 STAR’ and ‘HWA’ in 2020 and ‘Spicy,’Lover Like Me,’Tie A Cherry,’ and ‘Let It’ last year, this is the sixth song from the 11-track album to receive a video treatment.
CL stunned fans with a 2NE1 reunion at this year’s Coachella festival, and the video comes soon after. Park Bom, Minzy, and Dara, the K-pop girl quartet, played their hit song ‘I Am The Best,’ marking their first performance together after six years apart.
“The reason I really wanted to invite my members here was because I wanted to get together via my strength and our strength, before it was too late,” CL wrote on Instagram of the reunion.
The ‘Spicy’ singer revealed in a separate interview with Billboard that the trio had been “nonstop prepping” for their reunion in secret, even adding that member Dara kept plans for the reunion hidden from her current management company. “‘You guys can’t tell; don’t tell your mother!’ I said. CL gushed, “I don’t think Dara told her company.”
