Cookies by The Cookie Jar Complot: Review
Enter into an astronomical parade, where another indie-rock project plays to create intricate instrumental specials all the way from Luxembourg –today’s highlight – The Cookie Jar Complot.
They have some of the most pulsating works in their arsenal, including their latest release ‘Cookies.’ It is out and about, reigning in the indie land of Spotify, and it would be an understatement to say that the track is absolutely outstanding! Through the release of this song, the band showcases their mad guitar skills and incredible percussive works on drums without the need for any actual lyrics. The track is a musical masterpiece that never fails to keep you on the edge of your seat with its gigantic guitar solos featuring harmonic sounds, intriguingly pounding percussion, and limited undertones of distortion.
Since 2020, the duo Sven Schmeler and Gilles Glesener going live by their project name The Cookie Jar Complot have been actively performing and honing their skills to the point where they can now create something truly remarkable. So you can say that they’re certainly not new to town but they’re here to push through the basic ideologies of indie garage rock to give it a unique taste for new-gen listeners across the globe. The electric guitar-driven track ‘Cookies’ perfectly exemplifies the band’s strengths and demonstrates how their distinctively diverse sound has developed and grown over the years. So if you’re a fan of indie, non-lyrical work, knock yourself out!
