Crab Nebula by Daniel Dor: Review

“Crab Nebula” is a colorful pop tune by Daniel Dor, who brings a psychedelic edge to the genre. Tagging along are soft piano and guitar bits that are imbued with a trippy tone. The singer’s voice and the guitar segments in particular have a slight “dreamy” effect and have an ethereal feel. In its entirety, if you’re a fan of introspective lyrics with a hint of mystery in your music, then “Crab Nebula” should be right up your alley.
The melodic aura of Daniel Dor is pretty charming. His ideas and rhythmic facets draw you in from the very get-go. Initiating with light piano keys that echo in a sense of tragedy, reflection, and just an overall deepness. The sound of it all was truly captivating, and even more so when the singer began his ode. His narrative is pretty vivid, and the poetry is quite moving to hear. In addition to that, “Crab Nebula” has an experimental pattern that rises and falls with its transitions. It doesn’t follow the usual tropes of pop, with fixed verses and choruses, but is rather a flow of melodies.
Daniel Dor’s piece “Crab Nebula” has a mix of dark melodies with a tinge of hope. The piano and guitar chords follow the minor scale but ascend into brighter passages once it finishes. This combination was intriguing to witness and is a strong point in Daniel’s creative talent. Without a doubt, it’s an original melody that audiences will admire.
