Cyclone by Electric High: Review
Hailing from Bergen, Norway, Electric High is a powerful rock band with an energetic edge. Their track โCycloneโ manages to crank up the melodic engine, and sound rhythmically masterful. I was amazed by the gritty guitar segments, along with the animalistic drum arrangements! In addition to that, the vocal arrangements were quite unique and entertaining to hear.
The trackโs name โCycloneโ fits perfectly with the bandโs nature. It all feels like a bunch of good friends partying and having a good time with their instruments. There is such a wonderful chemistry between all the band members, and through each layer of instrumentation, it becomes evident. My favorite part is in the middle of the track when everything slows down. The bass lines and percussion bits take the center stage, while the guitar slowly returns to the scene for a face-melting solo.
โCycloneโ is a fierce song that manages to excite you with each guitar note, and vocal sequence. The track reminds me of 80s hard rock and some of the glam rock melodies that still grace the music scene today. With catchy choruses and gritty guitar segments, โCycloneโ surely has a strong place among rock enthusiasts. The vocal sections feel very anthemic, and it can indeed be a great track for large crowds to sing along with. The song is available for streaming, thus if youโre keen on turning a gloomy day into a more lively one, then Electric High is the band for you!
