Mrreowrr by Doll Riot: Review
“Mrreowrr” is one of Doll Riot’s best put-out music, baffling, obnoxiously loud in the best way possible that is worth headbanging to. Written together by Elena, Ella, Lillee, and London – the performance starts out with a bold statement.
The first line starts with “I’m not sorry for your fragile masculinity” and you can immediately tell what’s about to come! But they sing the first couple of lines with this calm before all hell breaks loose. “Mrreowrr” isn’t the first explicit song Doll Riot has written and performed, if you are already familiar with the chaos they create with their music. I mean they literally have a song called “Fuck You” so you do the math. But it’s certainly longer in experience and underrated compared to their other creations, but reaching thousands of streams for Doll Riot isn’t a matter of question because they keep putting out one hit after another. Their punk electronic guitar solos are timeless, and somewhat unique, at least what my ears are used to hearing. Followed by unpredictable roars, and even more mayhem to scare the living hell out of you.
Parts of the song ‘Mrreowrr” are spitfires of truth, and the band is holding back in some portions while setting fire to the stage as they progress and scream out like a crazy cat about to rip through your skin. Tune into them right now to color yourself intrigued once more by the modern alt-rock Salem Witches – Doll Riot!
