Dance the night away with “Aklıma Düşman” by Alt Komşus remixed by Lonasona
Lonasona, based in Istanbul and Zurich, has released their electronic dance remix of “Aklma Düşman” by the Turkish alternative band Alt Komşu. The music ascends while male vocals narrate a tale of inner yearning, conflict, and continuous journey. The energizing bass and groovy electric guitars thrill us with a cheerful and joyful mood. Throughout the whole song, the upbeat percussion wonderfully complements the combination of synth-pop components. The Turkish duo Lonasona, co-founded by Kaan Türkylmaz and Mustafa Uur Kaya, creates dance and electro-pop music with acoustic elements. Their musical approach is emotive, danceable, and full of good energy. The melodious songs of Lonasona have a distinctive sound reminiscent of synth waves, with different influences from 1980s pop, funk, and disco.
On September 30th, their electronic dance remix of the Turkish alternative band Alt Komşu’s “Aklma Düşman” will be published. In June 2020, Lonasona published their sci-fi-themed first album “Another World,” a cosmic voyage of aural darkness for those who can’t get enough. The album has gloomy, dramatic tunes with a hazy atmosphere.
In its entirety, “Aklıma Düşman” was already a fantastic piece as a standalone creation by Alt Komşu. But, Lonasona managed to give it a funky, and electronic take that is truly mesmerizing. All the catchy elements present in the track, from its discotheque guitar chords, to the electronica sequences, represent something extraordinary. The vocals are as crisp as ever, and overall is a delightful number to appreciate and enjoy.
