Danny K Releases New Single Handsome & Crisp

Inspired by artists like Freddie Gibbs, Madlib, MF DOOM, the Prodigy, Eminem, 50 Cent, and Kendrick Lamar, Danny Krikorian (aka Danny K Beats) launched his project in 2015. He used a Battery 4 by Native Instruments and Logic Pro X as his DAW in the production of his latest single, “Handsome & Crisp.” The song was laid out in Danny K’s studio in Orlando, Florida. Self-produced and mastered by Santiago Mastering. He’s also a talented piano player, and his melodies and chord progressions are completely original.

This is from his latest self-produced album of jazz rap, which features a number of new tracks. He has never ever had a song mastered by a third party before. The jazzy trance vibes of Freddie Gibbs, Benny the Butcher, and MF DOOM can be heard in this song. The result is therapeutic music with heft and heart, delivered via inventive sample chops and powerful bars. He claims that this song and his other recent releases are part of a series called The Jazz Rap Mafia, which features jazzy, nostalgic, exuberant, and rich soulful music inspired by artists like Curtis Mayfield and The Whispers and takes you back to the beginnings of hip-hop in the poetic speakeasy. This album’s instrumentation is heavily influenced by two producers: Kanye West and Madlib. Dr. Dre is also a source of inspiration.

Danny K plans to keep his fans on their toes by releasing new music on the first of every month. In addition, there is a major campaign underway both out and online to raise his profile.
