Titanic drops fiery cover of song ‘Dirty Work’
Titanic’s ‘Dirty Work’ is more than just a music video; it’s also a short thriller similar to the Coen Brothers’ renowned full-length movie ‘Blood Simple’. Brooklyn-based Matt Ernst and his longtime partner Dave Klym formed Titanic, an appropriately named yacht rock Pop-Punk band that made the iconic cover of ‘Dirty Work’. A complete EP of yacht-rock classics that were all recorded and produced in the pop-punk vein and that the band members grew to love while growing up listening to AM radio will be made available.
The plot is straightforward but includes a well-known twist in the final moments of the video. The femme fatale Elise (played by actress Elise Valderrama) and her two lovers Chris (actor Chris Pio) and John (actor John Duddy, a former boxing champion) are involved in a feedback loop of seduction, deceit, and murder.
