Don’t Look Too Far Away by Fifth Lucky Dragon: Review
Louis Imperiale from Indianapolis is the vocalist, synthesizer player, programmer, and production manager for Fifth Lucky Dragon. Their killer track “Don’t Look Too Far” is a dreamy, poppy, and nostalgia-laced tune that sends out an upbeat reminder to take it easy, take a breath, and stop overthinking everything.
With the sound of the synthesizer and keyboard tune, the song starts to build up and then enters the static-styled vocals. This song is mixed with electronics and pop antics. Fifth Lucky Dragon brings a fresh sound and vibe to their composition each time. Their music has been compared with MGMT, Twenty–One Pilot, and others and I can see the resemblance. With their technology and instruments, Fifth Lucky Dragon is producing some amazing tracks such as this one. And the feel-good bass line with the drums and break in-between the song along with the saxophone brighten up the tune and make it stand out.
The band’s influences are The Killers, Harry Styles, The 1975, and more, they have been playing on the radio stations still waiting for their appearance on TV. The song was recorded and produced by Louis Imperiale and Sam Ramirez mixed and mastered the song. Their song is very cheery and hopeful and gives a good vibe that gives the listeners something to look out for in their new projects to come out.
