Double or Nothing by Breon S.Y.N.D.E.L: Review
New York City based rapper Breon S.Y.N.D.E.L got us hyped with an atmospheric, rap-infused single โDouble or Nothingโ. He has set out to take his listeners on a sonic experience that definitely immerses his audience into his world. A cocktail of hard-hitting beats, soothing synths, and well-penned melodic lyrics tinge the track with an amazing sound that makes sure to make you get up and get grooving.
The trackโs lyrical subject is actually more emotional when probing further in. He quotes, โI think we have that one person we just canโt leave alone no matter what we do or try. Love hurtsโ
Channeling his inner Travis Scott, Breon raps over trap beats and cicada-style hi-hats. His auto-tuned vocals go perfectly with this style of music. His flow has a style thatโs a combination of modern mumble rap and old-school lyrical style that appeals to a wider spectrum of hip-hop listeners. His distinct style combined with the infectious beats really creates a captivating tune that makes it very difficult to not listen to the whole thing once someone presses play. Donโt believe us? See it for yourself.
