Olly E’s brand-new song, “Everlasting,” is an orgiastic, euphoric hymn that captures the harsh realities of life, including things like conflict and climate change that have a lasting negative effect on the world. It serves as a commentary on how unaware people are of current events and a call to action for all listeners to take action to save the environment.
The deep, thought-provoking lyrics are combined with a high-density soundscape of various timbres, including wide, percussive drums, emotively driven vocals, crunchy, vigorously driving panned guitars, and a graceful, melodic piano track that sits at the top of the mix. Its remarkable quality is undeniable, and ‘Everlasting’ wouldn’t sound out of the spot on Linkin Park’s ‘Hybrid Theory.
From Leicestershire in the United Kingdom, Olly E is an alternative rock musician who has been putting out music since 2016 with his outstanding debut EP, “1”. Olly has always used music as a means of escaping the harsh feelings of not fitting in with his social life. With each new release, Olly tends to grow more and more into his sound thanks to a fire that continues to burn inside of him. Olly E has a long list of accomplishments to his credit, including BBC Introduction, radio plays in Derby and Leicester, press appearances in RGM and It’s All Indie, and performances at a variety of concerts and festivals such as The O2 Scholar and The Shed in Leicester.
