LOGICA ABSTRACTA returns with a cinematic sensory journey in their latest track “fEast,” the second installment in the video EP Ad Astra, released via OMNINORM LTD on May 23, 2025. Picking up directly where the first piece left off, “fEast” is an audiovisual meditation that blurs the lines between analog artistry and digital minimalism, dissolving the barrier between music and visual narrative in a ritualistic way.
The track opens with delicate, crystalline percussive taps—light, metallic, almost like wind chimes flickering in a cave. Beneath that, an ambient wash of sound begins to rise like a tide: immersive, expansive, and slowly engulfing. As the soundscape builds, a shimmering high-pitched synth line threads its way into the fog, like a lighthouse beam through mist, and suddenly the whole composition becomes a trance. LOGICA ABSTRACTA crafts sound not in the traditional sense of melody and rhythm, but in texture and atmosphere. The sonic layering is subtle yet calculated, luring the listener into a hypnotic, mechanical and mystic state.
This hypnotic layering is further amplified by the music video—a visually spellbinding analog installation crafted with minimal computer effects. Directed by zen!a, the video blends projector-based shadow theatre with 3D transformations, offering a visual choreography that mirrors the song’s unfolding. Each layer of the visual narrative folds over the last, creating a cascading mirage of symbols, textures, and motion that mimics the music’s immersive qualities. The effect is ghostly and transcendent, a digital séance in which light, shadow, and sound converge to tell a silent story.
Produced by Vadim Militsin and mastered by Bill Sellar at Super Audio Mastering, “fEast” is an otherworldly continuation of LOGICA ABSTRACTA’s vision. Watch it in 4K and let yourself get lost.
