Gary Sohmers releases entrancing new song ‘Forever Girl’
The main goal of Beasties: A Sci-Fi Rock Opera is to help people learn how to control their negative “Beasties,” which are their negative energies and emotions. You can sing along to the songs in Gary Sohmers’ book, which is not only enjoyable but also leaves you with renewed hope in people.
The story surrounding these songs was written by Gary Sohmers in the beginning of 2017. He had previously written several of the songs over the course of his career and had also written 3 novels from the perspectives of 3 of the main characters. Sohmers spent his formative years as a singer and songwriter in Madison, Wisconsin, working with people like Butch Vig and others in the clubs and studio, recording and performing. Working with renowned musicians and vocalists, as well as orchestrator and songwriting partner Bill Holloman, made it a joy for Sohmers to create Beasties and bring this significant work to the world, he says.
Written from Grā’s point of view, the first book is titled ‘Book of Grā – Beasties: A Sci-Fi Rock Opera’. Rock and roll, alien encounters, and political meddling are all rolled up into two different love stories. One is between the band’s lead singer and his muse, and the other is between Impulse, an alien, and the earth. This rock opera is being prepared as a traveling production that will eventually appear on Broadway. Additionally, he unveiled the incredible new song ‘Forever Girl’.
