Into Me by Jack Tracy: Review
With spectacular melodic flow, Jack Tracy’s track “Into Me” is the perfect number to get you grooving. Influenced by genres such as RnB, Disco, and a bit of Motown, the artist keeps us gripped in the trance of “Into Me.”
My musical inspiration is sort of all over the place and the spontaneous phases may be complex at times. However, the presence of a strong bass arrangement in a tune is a consistent personal preference. Add that to the mix and automatically a track just adds more weight. So as “Into Me” entered with that fat bass piece I became thoroughly engaged. Bringing in some light synths and a powerful beat to fit the arrangement led to the melody of Jack’s number flowing with an epic aura. Enchanting and soulful, the promising aspect of disco music and its influence on a plethora of genres is still evident today. The track’s hip-hop and RnB spotlight are prominent, but a genuine attachment to disco is felt as well. Something about the way the bass moves from one segment to another, the beat’s flow, and the singer’s charm just makes you want to get up and start dancing the night away.
The singer’s presence on the track is flawless. The songwriting and vocal spreads are full of life and mood. Hearing each progression made me realize the connection between hard-hitting funk numbers from yesteryear combined with the jazzy allure of the modern day.
