Dutch Producer Sub Caesar releases a Melodic House & Techno and Progressive House track, โInto the Oblast (When Will You Be Home),โ this Nov 3. Featuring London-based vocalist Brunetti, with her extensive experience working with Netflix, Hulu, and MTV, the composition balances sensationally!
The inspiration for โInto the Oblastโ stemmed from a Ukrainian war clip that touched the artist.
โOblastโ translates to region or province in Ukraine symbolizing the dangers lurking outside home and is sung from the perspective of those awaiting their return.
The song unfolds with a pulsating and urgent synth line alongside intimidating techno textures and a pitch-down version of the Kyiv air siren for maximum authenticity combined. Together, they set an uneasy yet immersive soundscape. As the music builds, an impending sense of evil approaches, leading to the first instrumental drop that releases the built-up tension. The song keeps building and propels until a zooming spray of fog floods the soundscape and in comes a delicate, dulcet and ethereally high voice of Brunetti. Her ghostly vocals effortlessly soar and disappear within the pulse of the music, creating a hauntingly beautiful atmosphere.
So Listen to โInto the Oblast (When Will You Be Home)โ available on Spotify. And if you like what you hear, stay tuned to Sub Caesar. The Dutch producer is coming back VERY soon with another collab with Brunetti.
