Jasmine Girl by Robbie Rapids: Review
Atlanta-based singer/guitarist Robbie Rapids releases โJasmine Girlโ and fills the air with his soul-piercing track to connect with his listeners going through heartbreak just like him.
The song was composed from his unique perspective and during a trying time in his life, as he focused on the composition during the COVID-19 outbreak from digging into old memories. As you can tell, it was inspired by the artistโs own experience with relationship conflict and stubbornness. Robbie sings emotionally about his Jasmine Girl ending things after major fights stemmed from petty disagreements, leaving him in the dark while he wandered aimlessly and hoped sheโd come back.ย It is about the breakup between two people who are polar opposites and therefore unable to come to terms with one another.
Robbie Rapids is a creative genius from guitars in high school Jazz band, to writing amazing songs which is evident in his new alt-rock single. He collaborates with musician/producer David Levene, to produce this piece of art โJasmine Girlโ. Their similarity in music taste and professionalism and coincidentally both of them starting out at 16, brought them together. Youโre lucky โJasmine Girlโ was released back in September, and now it is available on all streaming platforms, so you can tune in anytime youโre feeling vulnerable and are in need of a heartfelt anthem!
