“‘Run Away’ is about frantically, passionately clinging on to hope,” Jocelyn explains. “It can feel impossible to maintain hoping at times – I think we’ve all had that sense, especially recently.” I’m sure there have been occasions when everything around me seemed to be suddenly too much, too heavy.” “This song is about converting that fear into strength,” Chris continues. “Our music has always been a source of strength for us, and I hope we can pass that strength on to you.”

The band’s most powerful and real album to date, Favorite Ghosts, is set to be released on May 27th. The 10-track album, written by Jocelyn & Chris and produced by their long-time collaborator David Bourgeois and seven-time Grammy winner Joel Moss, ushers Jocelyn & Chris into a bold new chapter, exploring themes of love, loss, and the things that sometimes haunt us but ultimately make us who we are.

“Run Away” follows “Sugar and Spice,” the album’s first taster, which American Songwriter praised as “American rock bliss.” The retro-funk anthem was a most-added commercial radio hit in the United States, earning Jocelyn & Chris their fourth consecutive Billboard AAA Top 40 radio single, which lasted 14 weeks on the chart.

In honor of “Run Away,” the band has teamed up with Canandaigua, NY-based boutique craft brewery Peacemaker Brewing to develop a limited-edition Run Away IPA. Jocelyn & Chris are known for their inventive collaborations, and last summer they collaborated with Peacemaker to brew a Sugar and Spice Passion Fruit Milkshake IPA. Run Away IPA will be available in New York on May 20th, and may be ordered nationwide here. This summer, Jocelyn & Chris and their band will take music from the new album on the road with tour dates around the United States, including a first-time performance at Bourbon & Beyond in Louisville, Kentucky.
