Learn To Hurt by SHWA: Review
Filled with just dandy bass lines and a voice send directly from the heavens, SHWA truly captures that indie-dance spirit. Her track โLearn To Hurtโ is a wonderful composition that encompasses catchy vocal play, keyboard arrangements as well as synth sequences that are truly remarkable and groovy.
Upon hearing โLearn To Hurt,โ I felt like I stumbled onto a type of sound Iโve heard very rarely in the music industry. SHWAโs amazing style and instrumental work in the track is a perfect mixture that sparks a light that needs to enlighten more listeners. At the beginning of the track, there is a muted guitar being played, and at first, I thought of it to be a standard guitar-driven track. However, later on, I was absolutely awed by the rising electro-bass arrangement, and suddenly the entire atmosphere of the track changed. The synthesizer has this cyberpunk-style bass line, which is my favorite type of bass line among all the bass lines. Although I do appreciate slap bass, too but electronic takes the cake at times. The slower transitions in the track are wonderful. There is a part where SHWAโs gritty vocals reach their peak with her high range. It completely blew my mind. This track is filled with incredible layers, and musical expertise is on another level. The clean keyboard notes are breathtaking and quite otherworldly. Overall, the track is a bonafide jam.
