Life in 3 by Strangely Alright: Review
The very definition of Magic Rock, thatโs what Iโd like to categorize โLife in 3โ by Strangely Alright. Their sound feels really profound, and itโs the type of music you hear not quite often nowadays. The psychedelic, blues, and progressive nature of the song is surely a delight to hear. I got some Pink Floyd โDark Side of The Moonโ album vibes from the track. Thus, letโs dive into an in-depth understanding of the song structure of โLife in 3โ. โCause, thereโs much to talk about!
Firstly, the guitar tone and chord structures. Itโs a bit layered with some reverb and echo effects, and the rhythmic elements are very clean and intense at the same time. The time signatures aligned with the bass and drums are quite catchy and sound very gentle and calming. The singerโs voice takes the icing on the cake for being unique and having a beautiful melody present in his voice altogether.
Thereโs an organ playing in the background, that sounds extremely trippy and is a perfect jam. If Iโm not mistaken there are some fillers with a sliding guitar! Itโs quite minimal so if you hear close enough you can feel its gentle vibration. Strangely Alright claims that their song โLife in 3โ is about the feeling of being perplexed as well as the desire to locate the life that we are worthy of. The guitar solos are charming and meaningful. Hence, donโt miss out on this song folks!
