Lovescope by SIR-VERE, released on January 26th, is your ticket to infectious punk enmeshed with electronic music and acid. Fronted by Craig Hammond, the album is finalized with studio chief Gary Morland on guitars, bass, keyboards, and production, along with Stevie Vega handling programming and DJ remixing.
Lovescope kicks off with โAngel of Death,โ which inundates you with its sultry and rich vocals courtesy of singer Ian McEwan. The track slowly builds with intriguing guitar riffs and a Hitchcockian atmosphere, drawing you into its dark and mysterious world.
The standout single, โPeer Pressure,โ hits hard with its catchy hooks and rhythmic drumming. The relentless backbeat hypnotizes you while the relatable lyrics, โPeer pressure on me/peer pressure on you/peer pressure on us/la la la,โ echo in your mind.
At the heart of the album lies the titular track, โLovescope,โ a dynamic and sensual composition that motivates you to move with its fuzzy monologue and rattling background noise. The laid-back crooning makes it both engaging and immersive.
Closing Lovescope is โBad Choices,โ a brooding yet relaxing track with smooth vocal delivery. The brooding guitars calm us with ambience while thumping drums ground the song to set the mood for making some bad choices.
With its limited edition vinyl release, Lovescope is inviting you to take a conscious dive into the hypnotic eleven tracks.
