Manon Mullener released prominent new song ‘Summer Jam’
Piano player Manon Mullener collaborates with a young, inventive quintet from the Swiss jazz scene on her second album, ‘Insomnia’. With ‘Insomnia’, we get to experience the variety that jazz has to offer. Manon takes us on a journey through her world with her influences—sometimes jazz, sometimes Latin—for a vibrant outcome and a guarantee of freshness. These musical explorations continue to be driven by Manon’s signature energy and groove, which never fails to make one daydream or even dance.
Swiss pianist Manon Mullener, 25, hails from Fribourg. She started her studies in Fribourg before continuing them at the Bern University of Music with Colin Vallon and Django Bates. She was born into a family of musicians. She recorded her debut album in 2019 as a piano duo with percussionists Cesar Correa and David Stauffacher. She founded the Manon Mullener 5tet in 2022, and that same year, they also recorded their debut album, Insomnia. Manon has performed and toured in a lot of clubs and festivals both domestically and abroad, including France, Germany, Spain, and Mexico, despite her young age.
