Marigold by Birds Are Better: Review
Birds Are Better came out with a promising new track called “Marigold”, gaining them thousands of streams as I’m writing this to pour out my feelings about the song to you guys.
The man behind the project is Stian Fjelldal, who has a unique voice, the talents of songwriting, and a knack for mixing a few different genres to evoke the best of his emotions packed into every single. This particular one, “Marigold”, is one of a kind soothing track, which boasts alternative and folk, bringing retro-esque songs accompanied by deeply soothing instrumentals. But honestly, the main highlight of this song is the vocals throwing those somber words over a lovely backdrop, as it absolutely steals the show. It’s also fantastic because you know what to expect from “Birds Are Better” when they decide to perform live and you get a chance to experience the ambient atmosphere Stian creates with his deep, calming voice.
With the voice of an angel, followed by a fairy tale-style melody, “Marigold” is an exquisite piece of art woven into a sonic experience. From London to Mexican City, everyone’s listening to them so why should you miss out? Tune into your favorite streaming platform and give this as many replays as your heart wishes!
