Down With The Miracle by Insane Blue: Review
From their sound to their composition, all the way to their project name, I’m head over heels for Insane Blue and their new release “Down With The Miracle”.
This song from the France-based group came to me at the perfect time, and I’d say it would align your Monday Blues and mid-life crisis and the economic downfall we’re all facing at this moment. From the moment “Down With The Miracle” plays, there are some major builds of instruments within its ebbs and flows, that make it sound like a depressed and anxiety-stricken protagonist’s theme song. I say this because the lyrics are not just terrifying but also devastating. Sound-wise it has a Pink Floyd flavor about it, injecting some life into it as the vocals take over the brief percussions of the song. The low to mid, yet muscular riff sounds of the vibrant guitar work are just perfect to accompany the vocals, as the pounding of the drums takes you to another zone.
Look around you, the world isn’t getting any better by the day, and like anyone else I can’t offer you solace but a good song that just fits with the situation! “Down With The Miracle is insanely melodious with the right combination of unconventional instrumental work that you just can’t get enough of! Hope this one satisfies your ear cravings for the week!
