โOn first hearing, Monica Lewinsky feels like a lighthearted song about people who have made a tremendous impact on pop culture, and it is that type of song,โ UPSAHL said of her new single. โHowever, writing this song was much more than that for me.โ
In the 1990s and early 2000s, women like Monica, Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, and Miley Cyrus were all brought down by the media and the court of public opinion for simply living their lives. Because of the nonsense they had to deal with early in their careers, one of the key reasons I get to feel free working in the creative profession. My tribute to them is โMonica Lewinsky.โ Thank you for contributing to history.โ
