Only you by GABRIELLA: Review
The sensation of pop and soul music flows in GABRIELLA’s enchanting song “Only you.” The artist grabs your attention instantly with her voice, which is a blend of sultry jazz vocals and uplifting RnB. Tagging along with GABRIELLA’s voice are these stellar rhythm pieces that maintain the song’s resonance.
Upon hearing “Only you” for the first time, the elegance of GABRIELLA’s performance captivated me. There’s such an innate smoothness to the artist’s vocal style! One minute she’s playfully singing verses with the instrumental’s cadence, the next she expresses a moody aura in the chorus bits. So, with such diversity and the sophistication of jazz, the song’s vocal segments truly shine. Right next up are the rhythm sequences in “Only you”, which by the way synced perfectly with the singer’s allure. It has an interesting tone and tempo, where bluesy guitars make an entrance and groovy drums keep the flow going. Aside from that a weighty bass piece is consistent throughout the piece which adds to the intensity of GABRIELLA’s melody.
Soul and RnB are two of the most influential genres in the music biz. Especially with vocalists, ‘cause the ethos of singing with “feeling” is deeply rooted within the aforementioned genres. Even if you’re just starting out in the industry, and you’ve got a mentor, nine times out of ten they’d suggest hearing songs related to them. GABRIELLA’s vocal charm is a true testament in that regard, and I truly feel inspired by her ode in “Only you.”
