Get ready to jam to the electrifying and infectious song, “Party Animals” by Gender Reveal Atomic Bomb. What’s so interesting behind this crazy shrill and electrocuble sound are teenage siblings Beau and Blaise Ramsey. So what we gather is that beyond the carefree seemingly alive music are two dedicated, ambitious and trailblazing individuals who are stepping out of the norms to show the world it’s never too early.
“Party Animals” starts with eerie, unearthly distortion and then jams to a relentless grind. As the vocals emerge with energy, the buzz gets more catchy to harmonize. You would be surprised to know that they didn’t use any guitar in this song at all. It was the bass the whole time—distorted of course. And this made “Party Animals” hit even deeper. But real drums by Anaïs Stassen Verpoest, definitely were there, thumping it up and bounding the energy first deeper than higher. Programmed and produced by Beau Ramsey, he has put up this raw punk-rock to complement the raging vocals with perfection.
The live wall of sound is not the only thing keeping “Party Animals” smashing. Layered and hoarse with energy and throat, the vocals by Blaise Ramsey, even Beau, and Annabella Van Cappellen brought that unifying emphatic oomph with a sort of satirical edge to the tone.
Written by Blaise and Beau, the lyrics of “Party Animals” makes its content pretty clear: “We’re party animals but we’re not invited/ It’s a big white house and the mob’s incited.” The mob riots at the US capitol on January 6th, 2020 inspired this vigor out of their enthusiasm.
