Personal Revolution by Blue Orchid Reaction: Review
Blue Orchid Reaction is ready to blast with their freshest release, Personal Revolution. Being born in a once-in-a-lifetime moment, the excruciating pandemic, Personal Revolution is the band’s love child derived from pure talent, flexibility, and positivity. The track describes the procrastination that literally everyone in the world has been through while being stricken by the global pandemic, but eventually, in the end, you can always start a coup d’etat, a mental revolution to thrive in a wicked world. This is a motivational, adrenaline-rushing kind of song, armed with distorted riffs and provocative reverbs in the hook. I would definitely not mind if this track pops up in my weekly recommended energy playlist.
Quotable lyrics:
“Hold on
When life is stepping on you
And you’ve got nothing left to give
Just give a little bit more
Hold on, hold on, hold on.”
Originated from the darkest times of the world in general and also from one of the members, Blue Orchid Reaction still leverages this moment to revitalize the current atmosphere with its authentic touch of artistry. They have perfectly portrayed the angst and the underlying hope with the arrangement of the song. The burst of energy the punchy drums and the guitars deliver would pick you up no matter how down you feel. If you are an avid listener of David Bowie, BRMC, Black Keys, Jack White, The Cure, this is a band that you can look out for.
