Pisco Sours by Arliston: Review
Emotional pop songs have always had a special place in my heart. Arliston’s track “Pisco Sours” is no stranger to that sentiment, and I’m glad to have come across it. It’s driven by a gripping vocal narrative, followed by soothing rhythm sections. Altogether, a magnificent sound is generated, and it amounts to a lovely indie-pop tune that anybody would enjoy hearing.
“Pisco Sours” is such a laid-back track that doesn’t rush into anything. Hearing the track at your own pace, in your own time, whenever and wherever will immerse you all the same. It’s a track that finds you when you need it and guarantees a resonant melody while at it. This is primarily because each rhythm section and vocal passage has a very relaxed, almost ambient tone. Consuming that aura felt wholesome, and it’s such an atmospheric quality to take in. The instrumentals, which are these faded synths and a slow percussive sequence playing out, combine excellently with each verse. The synergy felt enriching, and I could feel a genuine harmony forming. This is especially so in the bridge section, where everything just slows down. A chill piano plays out and the percussions are halted; suddenly emotions rise, and the song’s narrative sparks up even more. Arliston steps back for one last wave of song, and it’s a cadence that you’ve gotta hear to experience. Bravo!
Pisco Sours by Arliston is available for streaming, so please check it out, folks! You can thank me later.
