Please Don’t Go by Temperature Falls: Review
If you’re not in the mood for an upbeat EDM at the club, then Please Don’t Go is the perfect chill mix, with heart-piercing vocals.
The song begins with dreamy synthesizers, gradually increasing in intensity until Camilla’s vocals join which is a captivating work of art. She sings about a couple going through a rough patch, all while maintaining a mournful tone. In addition to a slow, melancholy tune, the song’s expressive and sympathetic lyricism makes for a profoundly touching experience. I can’t emphasize enough on how understated yet beautifully rich and sweeping listen it is. Over the years, Temperature Falls has established smooth and euphoric trip-hop-inspired approaches. These two are displaying their ingenuity all over again in this captivating new treasure, which features warm and ambient tones set well against some incredibly high vocals throughout. The mighty Norwegian duo from Temperature Falls, vocalist, and lyricist Camilla and multi-instrumentalist Ian J. Ward met back in 2018. They formed an indestructible musical attachment almost immediately, and released several remarkable albums such as their first self-titled, then “I want to go where you go”, “Nobody to believe in anymore” and a gravitating single “Death by Suffocation”. Please Don’t Go is another strong addition to their growing discography because of the innovative and daring way in which they approach their style and composition.
