Road to Nowhere by Thomas Cleaver: Review
A beautiful poem filled with diverse melodies, along with a voice full of freedom and spirit. Thomas Cleaver’s track “Road to Nowhere” is an emotional and passionate track that will surely tug on your heartstrings. From soothing guitar chords to a synthesizer hook that mimics the sound of trumpets, the track is a burst of light that seeks you out in darkness and guides you on a glowing path with a soothing record.
I miss songs with meaning, with heart. So, I’m truly glad I got to hear and review “Road to Nowhere” by Thomas Cleaver. His performance and lyricism have a very classic aesthetic. Thomas sings of personal feelings and reflection all the while bringing together a punchy bassline and instrumentation that is incredibly catchy. It’s tough not to move along with the uplifting rhythm elements of the track, especially the high notes the artist is able to effortlessly touch upon.
“Road to Nowhere” has various shifts in terms of melody. One minute it’s a melancholic tune filled with echoed guitars, the next it turns into a whole other party with the synthesizer effects. As mentioned before sounds like trumpets, it embellishes the entire song in such a way that you’ll yearn for that sound once more. All in all, the track is a wonderful tune if you wish to dedicate it to a special someone, or just ponder upon your relationship and help enlighten a romantic spark in you.
