“Rogue (Aim for the Kill)” by Los Angeles-based cinematic metal/rock band EDGE OF PARADISE is a thunderous testament to the band’s unyielding determination.
Released under the esteemed Napalm Records label, EDGE OF PARADISE means business. “Rogue (Aim for the Kill)” opens with soaring vocals that are both haunting and electrifying, setting the stage for the explosive guitar riffs and thumping drums that follow.
Lead vocalist Margarita Monet delivers the refrain, “Aim for the kill” with a demonic gnarled voice while the guitar grinds and riffs. The lead singer has an acerbic bite to her icy voice, which also has a soulful, vulnerable and sultry edge to it, showcasing her softer and more humane side. She proves to be dynamic as her voice soars with anthemic and soulful energy, as she sings, “I am going rogue.”
The bridge zoomes a driving line past the rising levels of tension only to face the crescendo of the singer’s high voice reaching the most energetic, visceral and spine-tingling shrill heights, giving you an instant boost in motivation and empowerment.
EDGE OF PARADISE also features a larger-than-life person with the music video for “Rogue (Aim for the Kill)” taking the energy to another level. It features stunning visuals of volcanoes, blizzards, and the band performing amidst it all. Monet’s electrifying presence steals the show, drawing viewers in with her magnetic charm and commanding presence.
EDGE OF PARADISE is currently on their USA tour. They will be covering Texas, Cali among other places upto early May. So mark your calendars and stay tuned!
