Roxercat released flaming new song ‘Baby I Tried’
After releasing two well-received singles, Roxercat releases their six-song EP, ‘Pearls’, for the first time. The Nashville, Tennessee-based progressive rock group Roxercat is led by singer and songwriter Price Jones, guitarist Stan Lassiter, and bassist Bill Francis.
On the recordings, there are also a number of guest musicians. The imaginative storytelling and superb musicianship that can be found in Roxercat’s music are to be expected from such an experienced group of Nashville artists. The EP was co-produced by Price Jones and Grammy® Award-winning engineer and producer Clarke Schleicher. It was recorded at Nashville’s Sound Emporium Studios with additional tracks added at Cat Tracks Studio.
A very satisfying listening experience is produced by the band’s expert musicianship, Price’s talent for composition and storytelling, and both factors individually. The songs discuss a variety of subjects, such as the difficulties of living in the digital age, love, relationships, life’s paradigm shifts, and surviving uncertain times. No matter the current state of relationships with the people who come and go throughout your life, you can still wish them happiness, Price Jones’ worldview is embodied in the title song, ‘Pearls’. The EP also has a stunning song ‘Baby I Tried’.
