Ryan Slatko drops catchy new song titled โAM-FMโ
With pride, Ryan Slatko made available his single โAM-FMโ. Since his 2017 debut album, โFirst Impressionsโ, with Ulysses Owens Jr. on drums and production, Linda Oh on bass, Joel Ross on vibraphone, Daniel Dickinson on alto saxophone, and Samir Zarif on tenor saxophone, this is Slatkoโs first release in five years. Slatko self-released both โFirst Impressionsโ and โAM-FMโ.
Joshua Roberts on drums, Ben Tiberio on bass, and Jared Yee on tenor saxophone make up โAM-FMโ. This trackโs musicians all recorded it at their homes. This will be the first of many single releases to come as Slatko gets ready for a new album that will be released in the very near future. This song marks a significant shift in Slatkoโs style from more conventional acoustic jazz instrumentations to more electric and perhaps โfusion-inspiredโ instrumentations. Additionally, a music video for โAM-FMโ will be posted on YouTube.
