setting sun by sunhertz: Review
Indie superstar sunhertz has graced us all with his trippy and wholesome song, that will surely resonate with everyone, โsetting sunโ. The track starts off with a pristine guitar tone and then the synths make their way into the background. It all provides a novel approach to indie music. Then, a jazz-style piano begins to play for a little while, and the whole thing has the sensation of a soundtrack to the Universe.
The singerโs voice has such a unique, colorful approach to the indie pop genre that it practically screams it. As soon as the tempo changes, the entire song is suddenly filled with happy thoughts of rainbows and sunlight. Because there is so much atmosphere in the music, it is quite possible for listeners to get lost in the universe that sunhertz has crafted for them. His voice is soothing and reassuring, and the production and editing that was done to somewhat warp his speech are so damned smooth!
The changes in the track are simply amazing, even the singerโs voice comes out more clearly at one point, and the tune seems like a wide array of sunlight entering through your bedroom window and greeting you with a grin on your face as it does so. The idea is to have a smile that is full of melodies that were formed by the sun hertz. Duke Schaffner, a native of Tulsa, is the genius mind behind this solo indie pop act.
