Sissel Juliana drops fiery new song ‘Seeking Acceptance’
Juliana’s second single, ‘Seeking Acceptance’, is the first in which she discusses her upbringing and feelings of not being good enough for her family. Because rap and hip-hop have always resonated with Juliana, she decided to include a rap verse in this song. She’s eager to share this aspect of herself in the hopes that it will speak to others who, despite being resilient and overcoming obstacles throughout their childhood, feel inadequate.
Young and upcoming artist Sissel Juliana is of Filipino and Romanian descent. When she was 5 years old, she and her mother relocated to Norway. She grew up in a home where there was a lot of drug and alcohol abuse, so she turned to music and songwriting as therapy.
