Slow it Down by Jamie C and Justin X: Review

“Slow it Down” is a fantabulous track by the British rap duo Jamie C and Justin X. They finally settled on a sound in late 2021, blending elements of Hip Hop/Rap, House, and Dance. The new voice the two have developed is an amalgam of their two influences, and it was developed via experimenting.

Our ears are treated to the calming tones of a synthesizer, and in the distance, we can hear some arpeggios accompanied by a woman’s voice. If you want to keep up with the style as the rhythm hits, you had better be ready to flow to it, because it is incredibly lit and insane. The rap style of British rappers has this effervescent quality to it; it has a real gangsta and cinematic vibe to it. The song “Slow it Down” by Fam is quite captivating and has an appealing musical quality. I beg you, don’t let this track pass you by! The lyrical content and gloomy delivery of the rapper’s music are both very magnificent. The backing vocalist is a woman with a soulful and silky voice, and she adds a lovely touch of flavor to the song. A symphonic synth arrangement is also included in the music; this element bridges the gap between the primary synth rhythm and beats, which in turn makes room for the rapper’s hook to be heard more prominently.

“Slow it Down” is a beautiful, and colorful rap track that will truly captivate you, and remind you that it’s time to go on that night drive and have a full reflection session with a loved one or yourself. Peace.
