Spoonflower by Illuminade: Review
Elijah Reed is a musician and producer under the appearance of his musical projectโs name Illumunade. On February 20, 2022 he released the track โSpoonflowerโ. His inspirations are Flying Lotus, The Mars Volta, The Weeknd and Portished and many more. It is an instrumental track, and he focuses on experimental electronic music as well as psychedelic rock as his genre of choice.
It starts with a sustained noise from the synth that gradually changes its tune, and then there is a tune played on the keyboard that is like a xylophone. When combined with bell synthesizers, and a creepy church organ creates an atmosphere that is instantly scary for the person who is listening to it. After that, a shuffled, programmed drumming beat begins, and all of the other sounds start at the same time. The groovy bass line gives a complement to the entire track. It is a wild and trippy piece of electronic music, with a groovy bass and rhythms, as well as synthesizers that have a haunting quality.
Even though it has a spooky vibe when you listen to โSpoonflower,โ the track itself has a calming feel, the experimental composition and sounds are very impressive and interesting. The experimental nature of the composition and the trippy theme makes it really interesting during some recreational activities. Do what you want with that information. *wink*
